The unit operates across three progressive zones to maximise dewatering performance:
A VFD‑driven headbox provides uniform sludge distribution across the belt while a poly pickplow arrangement gently thickens feed from typical raw concentrations of 1–2% up to 10–15% solids.
A precision wedge profile hydrofoil and dewatering roll remove free water and accelerate solids consolidation without excessive shear.
Pneumatically actuated press rolls, also VFD controlled for consistent throughput, apply controlled pressure to achieve the final cake solids.
